Garlicky Pan-Roasted Broccoli With Onions

We eat broccoli at least once a week in our home—there are so many ways to prepare this dish. One of my favorite ways to cook my broccoli is cooking it on the stove, adding garlic and onions. It is undoubtedly not the way your mother used to cook it. If my mother would have prepared broccoli like this when I was growing up, I would have eaten it more as a child.

This broccoli is Such a simple weeknight side or element of a meatless meal. The pan roasting brings out a nutty flavor in the broccoli, and garlic is the perfect complement.

Enjoy!

If you were looking for a meal to pair with this side dish, you should try out these recipes below. I love to add broccoli to my Garlic-Habanero Shrimp or Grilled Salmon Topped with Orange Maple Glaze
